Living in Needham is not a hard decision to make if you know the things that make it a magnet for homebuyers. The development of the city started after World War II, when tech companies started to flock into the area to transform Needham’s poor farming industry to mills. From then on, the city has flourished and become the city it is today.
Here are the things you need to know about living in Needham MA:
It Has an A-Rated Educational System
Schools in Needham are some of the best in Massachusetts. In fact, aside from the great schools that are already built in the area, a new school is set to rise soon on Central Ave.--the Sunita L. Williams Elementary School. This school is now being built by the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) in partnership with the Town of Needham to replace the Hillside School. It will open in September 2019.

It’s a Great Place for Recreation
If you love spending quality time with your family, Needham offers plenty of family-friendly activities around the town. This city is home to The Kid’s Place, which is great for kids because of the parties and paint and pottery classes that are regularly held here.
Two pools are also underway at the Rosemary Recreation Complex in Needham to allow for seasonal recreation and competitive swimming. These pools will be built out of the lake to ensure clean and healthy swimming for the residents of the town.
